Pathhog User Terms

These User Terms ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Pathhog's consumer-facing website/app (the "Service"). If you are a creator operating a Pathboard, your relationship with us is also governed by the Pathhog Creator Terms.

Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy (Effective 10 August 2025).

1. ELIGIBILITY & ACCOUNTS

1.1 You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority, you must have a parent/guardian's consent.

1.2 You are responsible for your account, credentials and the accuracy of information you provide.

2. THE SERVICE

2.1 Pathhog curates publicly available information from creators' Instagram profiles and presents it as navigable pages ("Pathboards"). Some pages include links to third-party services (e.g., ticketing, activities, hotels) that may earn Pathhog a commission.

2.2 We may use automated systems (including large-language models) to structure, summarize and present public information. Outputs may contain errors or omissions. Always verify details before making plans or purchases.

2.3 We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature at any time.

3. YOUR USE & PROHIBITED CONDUCT

You agree not to, and not to allow others to:

• violate laws, rights of others, or these Terms;
• attempt to access non-public areas, interfere with security, or probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities;
• copy, scrape at scale, or cache substantial parts of the Service except as enabled by standard web/browser functions;
• use the Service for harassment, spam, misleading claims, or to post/upload unlawful or infringing content (if posting features exist);
• misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

4. CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

4.1 Creators' content. Creator content displayed on Pathboards remains the property of the creators and/or Instagram. You may view and share links for personal use only. Do not download, reproduce, or redistribute content except as allowed by law.

4.2 Pathhog rights. The Service, UI, software, databases and aggregated/de-identified insights are owned by Pathhog and its licensors. Subject to these Terms, Pathhog grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.

4.3 User submissions. If the Service allows comments, lists, reviews or feedback, you grant Pathhog a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and use such submissions to operate and improve the Service. You remain responsible for your submissions.

5. THIRD-PARTY LINKS, DISCLOSURES & TRANSACTIONS

5.1 The Service links to third-party sites and services (e.g., GetYourGuide, Viator, Trip.com, Klook, Expedia). Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Pathhog is not responsible for third-party content, availability, pricing, fulfilment, or cancellations.

5.2 Affiliate disclosure. Pathhog may earn commissions from some links. This helps keep the Service running. Commissions do not affect your price.

6. TRAVEL & SAFETY DISCLAIMER

The Service provides general information and convenience features. It does not constitute travel, legal, health, or safety advice. Verify opening hours, locations, restrictions and requirements (e.g., visas, weather, closures) with official sources. You assume all risks associated with activities and travel you undertake.

7. PRIVACY

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and share information. By using the Service you consent to those practices.

8. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms, illegal activity, or risk to the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time.

9. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date and providing notice within the Service. Changes apply prospectively. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

10. DISCLAIMERS

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pathhog disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, accurate or error-free.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pathhog's aggregate liability arising from or relating to your use of the Service will not exceed SGD 100. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues or data.

12. INDEMNITY

You will indemnify and hold harmless Pathhog and its affiliates from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms or laws.

13. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
